GS-AGR AZIMUTHAL GAMMA TOOL
"window" is machined along the length of the tungsten shield that surrounds the gamma ray detector. Only gamma ray entering from the formation, through this window can be detected and counted. With highly accurate azimuthally sectored bins around the borehole, GS-AGR acquires gamma ray data, as well as provides a total gamma ray measurement. These measurements are used to help determine well path placement and determine position in real-time while drilling. GS-AGR tool provides high- level drilling-encounter ratio with a flexible and user-friendly configuration, which is suitable for thin-layer reservoir operation.
