GS-AGR-HT
HIGH TEMPERATURE AZIMUTHAL GAMMA TOOL
GS-AGR-HT High Temperature azimuthal gamma tool,
completely using high-temperature chips and components,
achieving a true high-temperature design, with working temperature no
less than 175 ℃, could meet the requirements for deep and ultra
deep well operations. GS-AGR-HT uses window technique,
the window is machined along
the length of the tungsten shield that surrounds the gamma
ray detector,and only gamma
ray entering from the formation, through this window can be detected and
counted. With highly accurate azimuthally sectored bins around the borehole,
GS-AGR-HT acquires gamma ray data, as well as provides a total gamma ray measurement.
These measurements are used to help determine well path placement and determine position in
real-time while drilling. GS-AGR tool provides high-level drilling-encounter ratio with a
flexible and user-friendly configuration, which is suitable for thin-layer reservoir operation.
