Hydraulic Locking Solution for Gate Blowout Preventer


The locking mechanism of the gate blowout preventer is an important mechanism to ensure the reliable closing of the gate and the safety of well sealing. It is divided into two forms: manual locking mechanism and hydraulic automatic locking mechanism. The hydraulic automatic locking mechanism can automatically realize the locking and unlocking functions of the gate, without manual operation, low labor intensity and high efficiency. It is suitable for occasions with high requirements for the automation of the blowout preventer and limited installation space.


Technical introduction of the solution
We can provide a hydraulic automatic locking mechanism (liquid locking mechanism) for the gate blowout preventer. The hydraulic locking mechanism is independently developed and designed by our company. It uses a hydraulic system to achieve automatic locking and unlocking of the gate, and has been verified by fatigue tests. The hydraulic automatic locking mechanism can achieve the automatic locking requirements of the piston at different positions after the semi-closed gate (fixed hole gate), variable diameter gate, and shear gate are closed, that is, the main piston can be automatically locked in a larger position range.
